![]()

|---|---|
| Maximum Length | Up to 20 inches across |
| Origin | Indo-Pacific |
| Minimum Tank Size | 50 gallons |
| Reef Compatibility | With caution |
Behavior
Must have a deep sand bed (4+ inches) to bury its column — will deteriorate without substrate to anchor in. Compatible host for Clark’s, Maroon, and Sebae clownfish. Will move until it finds the right conditions.
Diet & Feeding
Photosynthetic. Supplement 2–3 times per week with meaty foods including shrimp, krill, or silversides.
Cautions
Requires deep sand bed — not suitable for bare-bottom tanks. Strong sting; keep well away from corals. Sensitive to water quality changes. Acclimate slowly via drip line.
