Behavior
Peaceful; requires a species-only tank or tank with very slow, non-competitive fish. Males brood eggs in a pouch.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore. Feed live and frozen mysis shrimp multiple times daily. Will also accept enriched brine shrimp.
Cautions
Specialized care required. Should not be kept with active fish, powerhead intakes must be covered.
